I may be killing me some birds soon. Every time I plant something, the freaking birds rip it out or dig up the seeds. They pulled out 6 tomato plants today, all but the biggest of my pickling cucumbers plant, 2 Straight 8 cucumber seedlings and every single time a bean seed sprouts, they pull it up too. I am so sick of replanting my garden and losing so many plants to those thieving birds!
And seriously, our new neighborhood is infested with birds. I have never seen so many birds in one area before.
Ash got a BB gun for Christmas. I'm *this close* to hiding out and using it on one of those demons.

I had a problem with birds early in the season and I bought some bird netting and used some 1 inch by 3 foot wood stakes to cover the garden to keep them out. Worked great. But I know the frustration. There is always something to fight off.
I know exactly how you feel I lost over 30 tomato plants to blackbirds this year. They bit off the tops of my best plants, ones that I grew from seed. I had to go to Walmart to buy some replacement plants. We live and learn, and we never give up. I love you.
